How We Work

From first call to roof slab, in five steps.

Every project runs through the same program. Timeline shown is for a typical 6-unit residential block in Nairobi. Larger projects take longer — we'll give you a schedule in week 1.

Week 1

Discovery

The call.

You tell us the plot, the budget, and what you're trying to build.

A 30-minute call (WhatsApp, Zoom, or in person if you're in Nairobi). We ask about the plot, the county, the budget, and what the rental income needs to look like. If it's a project we can't do well, we say so on this call. No fee for the call.

By end of week: Project brief + feasibility check + written quote.

Week 2–3

Concept

The plan.

You see what's buildable, and what it costs, before a shilling leaves.

We produce a concept layout — site plan, floor plans, and a preliminary BoQ. This is where we tell you whether the plot actually supports what you want to build. If it doesn't, we adjust the vision instead of the price. You approve the concept before we move to full design.

By end of week: Concept drawings + preliminary BoQ + revised schedule.

Week 3–6

Design

The package.

Structural, MEP, BoQ, and 3D renders. One folder. One fee.

Full structural design (RC and steel), MEP layouts, detailed BoQ, and 3D architectural renders. Coordinated in a single model so nothing collides on site. Delivered to you as a complete package — every drawing, every schedule, every line of the BoQ, in one folder.

By end of week: Full design package + fixed BoQ.

Week 6–9

Approval

The stamp.

Drawings approved through a licensed EBK engineer. County submission handled.

Eng. John Njuguna reviews and stamps the structural drawings (EBK Reg. No. A3090). We submit the full package to your county — Nairobi, Kiambu, or Kajiado — and handle every query, revision, and site inspection the county asks for. You don't chase a single document.

By end of week: Approved drawings + county permit + construction-ready set.

Week 9 → Handover

Build

The build.

Weekly site visits. Weekly photo reports. Open-book procurement.

Construction starts. We run weekly site visits, coordinate the contractor, verify quality at every stage, and procure materials on your behalf at trade prices. Every receipt goes to you within 48 hours. You get a photo report every Sunday. When the roof slab is poured, you'll know exactly what it cost — down to the last bag of cement.

By end of week: Completed structure + full receipt archive + project dossier.
